The Wanaka Tree — Lake Wanaka, New Zealand
New Zealand is a wondrous place. There is a reason, many reasons, Peter Jackson chose it for the setting of his Lord of the Rings flicks. This evening started out cold and gray and blue, but eventually exploded when the sun cleared the mountaintop clouds for a few minutes. And it was magic.
