The Eiffel Tower at Sunrise — Pont d'Iena, Paris
For this Monochromatic Monday, we present this view of time in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower and the Pont d'Iéna at sunrise. This was a beautiful morning, with a brilliant colorful sunrise, but to me, it was the shades of sand and granite that set the tone for this image. If you've been to Paris, you know this spot across the River Seine is not exactly close to the Tower. And yet, it still looms massively over everything. That is the sense of this image, the hushed breathing, the sound of boats moored on the river, pigeons flapping in unison, late night revelers stumbling home on the pathway stones. This is not a final image, just a proof of concept.
