Old Growth Redwood — Armstrong Woods State Natural Reserve
Truncus is one of our pieces from the series in the Armstrong Woods State Natural Reserve redwoods stand.
On the last day I was there, I was packing up when I noticed this ring of redwoods around a stump spawning new redwood growth. All were dappled in sunlight. It was, of course, arresting. So, I unpacked again to capture this image.
