February 21, 2024

In this case, it's the edge of the Merced River which was high and fast this day in February from the intermittent snow melt of an alternately warm and cold weather. This was that kind of morning where the air was "clear as a bell," as the saying goes. This was an unusual morning. Before the mist fully burned off, the light managed to illuminate both El Cap and Bridalveil Fall, pulling the latter out of shadows.
